Gold Rush

A server-wide event where mining gold ore gives you bonus gold on top of the normal drop. It's a great time to stock up on gold if you catch it.

How It Works

Gold Rush kicks off automatically once a day at a random time, so you never know exactly when it'll start - keep an ear out. When it begins, you'll see a chat message and an on-screen announcement, along with a boss bar that counts down the time remaining. If you log in while the event is already running, you'll see the boss bar too.

While it's active, breaking gold ore (regular, deepslate, or Nether gold ore) drops a bonus handful of raw gold or gold nuggets on top of what you'd normally get - so every gold vein you find is worth a bit more.

The event runs for about 10 minutes before ending automatically, with a message letting everyone know it's over.
